Foshan brewery has become the 27th winery in Carlsberg China, with a fixed asset investment of nearly 1.5 billion yuan and a total investment of nearly 3 billion yuan, with an annual output of 500,000 liters of beer and an annual output value of 2 billion yuan. The brewery has 4 production lines, purchasing KHS Germany's most advanced technology beer production line and bottle conveyor system, case conveyor system and pallet conveyor system.
Foshan brewery will be Carlsberg Group's first sponge brewery in the world. The rainwater collection and treatment system with a total volume of 3,000 cubic meters is composed of four large underground reservoirs which can realize the rainwater recycling, save fresh water resources and reduce waste water discharge. Photovoltaic panels are laid in large areas with a total installed capacity of about 6 MW and advanced energy storage equipment is installed to meet 20% -30% of the production electricity consumption of the factory. The intelligent monitoring and management system will reach the equipment level of the workshop, monitor and control the production energy consumption of the whole plant in real time, optimize the energy use and help the management team to fully explore the energy saving potential. In the construction process, green and energy-saving building materials are selected and a large number of recyclable and energy-saving building materials are selected including steel structure, high-performance heat insulation glass and building heat insulation materials. Among them, the innovative application of renewable energy and intelligent energy saving system can not only reduce energy consumption and environmental burden but also improve production efficiency and economic benefits. The newly established R & D center is Carlsberg Group's first R & D center outside Europe that providing new product development, packaging design and testing services for the Chinese and Asian markets.
